The day before I've had a lesson on the internet with a student located in Japan. I was a little bit worried about the network (speed) and the software's video qualities, particular we are soooooo far away now :(. And of course, it's also depend on the configurations of our computer, you know mine was bought over 8 years ago.

But the result was satisfactory, particulary the sound quality was quite good. I could clearly hear my student's pronounciation and rectify it where necessary. And I love the white-board function too. It seems like I am doing the same way as I was in Japan, either at a private lesson or in front of a class, picking up a pen and write down instantly anything I would like to tell my students. Of course it's indifferent for me to type them out in big font. Anyway, I am happy with the online lesson and hope I can continue to make it better.

In fact I'm thinking about upgrading my computer by adding more RAM, hoping it will contribute to even smoother video or sound performance...
